This decal was for a toy go-cart that Raleigh produced. As George Ellis was in Raleigh toy design prior to cycle design it was most likely a sample he had lying around and just put on to make it a more finished appearance

I think this prototype would look amazing after a careful detail clean , taking care to preserve those ' whatever was to hand' decals , headbadge and whatever is left of the paint.
Some rust stabilizer on the exposed metal and a bit of elbow grease on the chrome would make for a lovely patina. Think Wabi Sabi... ;)
