About Me

Not a R20 owner!  I have some small wheelers though:

  • Sunlova chinese made cheap bike (relegated to Winter use and emergencies)
  • Royal Enfield Revelation - Current winter project bike
  • Dawes Kingpin - Awesome touring machine.  Planning to take it on a trip from Lands end to John'O'Groats in 2012.  If you think you and your bike can make it, let me know.

I recommend keeping the Revelation original. 3 speeds is enough unless you like to shift needlessly. Personally I prefer single speed fixed gear and would keep the original rear wheel in a corner and go with alloy fixed wheel at 451 mm. and front brake only. Nice looking bike by the way, good looking colours. Thanks Ed unable to post in the usual manner, problem with site.

Hi - in the usa in the early 70's raleigh twentys came in green, coffee and white. I should know, I worked in a raleigh shop at the time.
