I have built several bikes in my time, but like many Twenty enthusiasts it was Sheldon Brown who inspired me to attempt a Twenty project of my own. After much research I bought two non-folding Raleigh Shoppers. One of them had a nice Pletscher rear carrier so that will be used. I picked the best frame and started the modifications. Rear triangle cold set and track dropouts braised on. Bottom bracket cut down and refaced to accomodate a threadless cotterless unit. Front forks cold set. Wheels are Sun CR18 alloy rims laced with Halo BMX spokes with a Sturmey Archer 70mm drum brake on the front wheel and a Shimano Nexus 8 hub on the rear wheel. Tyres are Schwalble Durano. Stronglight ahead headset and quill stem, and Tokyo bike aluminium mudguards. Alloy seat post and Brompton saddle. I have'nt decided on the chainset yet

Almost ready to build now - just need to spray the frame and forks - then start to build....will post photos of progress
