About Me

I am an Engineer in the communication industry and practical engineering areas. I own a Raleigh Twenty folder that is for sale. It has been upgraded to alloy wheels and Marathon tyres, coaster brake and alloy bars with Sugino cotterless alloy single ring crankset. It is in the brown color wth most Raleigh decals still showing. I also have one originaltyre and one original steel Raleigh rim and a nice set of chrome fenders with the Raleigh logo. I am in Colorado. $200US negotiable for all.

I have many other bkes including folders, road, track and custom. I owned a shop for years and do my own work. Considering opening a new shop catering to those who travel in RVs, Small aircraft and Yachts.

About Me

I bought my first Twenty in 2013 so that I could take it on trains and ride in the city. It is really a beautiful little bike.

It was in pretty good condition but still needed some restoration work. Not all parts are original (tires of course were replaced but I also replaced the pedals and grips; the chain guard, though attractive, is clearly from some other bicycle. A kickstand and pannier rack were added.

It runs like a charm except that it is impossible for me to get into first gear. It's fine with second and third, though. Any thoughts on why this is the case? Thanks!
