The SA hub is stamped '75' and '9', The seat tube 'Dawes' badge includes the Olympic rings (for the 1976 Olympics). The shop sticker is just readable and has 'H.J. Gifford Ltd'. A quick internet search led me to Basing Cycles Ltd in Basingstoke. Does this mean anything to anyone?

H.J.Giffords was a family run cycle shop, with hardware, toys and a Honda motorcycle dealership in Basingstoke.

I worked for the cycle shop as a mechanic from the 79-84, and we used to stick on the Yellow sticker shown to all new and used cycles that were sold.

They were a TI Rayleigh dealer then, so I am guessing it may have been a second hand cycle that passed through the shop, but don't quote me on that. :)

Hope this is of help to you.
