Hmm.. that's an alloy one. Point taken. I'll look out for a steel one. Still waiting for a couple of bits to complete the project. Post-Christmas mail has reverted to snail-like. The Palk Riser has the bend going back because I think the stem looks a little bit too long. Feels alright though. I need to ride it around a bit to make the fine adjustments. The current weight is 13kg which is not super-light, but not bad either for a nearly 40yo steel bike! I never really appreciated what a lump of metal the AW hub is until I built these wheels! Hopefully I can post a completion photo with a much more interesting background some time in the next week or so!
