Rusty mudguard resolved.
For unknown reasons the bottom of the rear mudguard was really quite rusty. I figured I wouldn't find a match for the purple paint so I painted a white panel instead which I hope is in keeping.

If the tread pattern is still solid and only the sidewalls are showing signs of age they should be good for a while yet.

Now, do you think I should replace the tyres? They are beginning to crack and I wouldn't want to go on any significant ride with these things on, but something is telling me to keep it original as possible?
