The rear end has been spread to 130 mm OLN to accept a modern cassette road hub. This modification to the seat stay will mean that the chain will not clash against the inside of the frame when using the smaller sprockets. This was about two hours' work, and great fun to do.

I must remember to follow this and see how it turns out. Sounds interesting and is something i wouldn't mind building myself.
