The forks were pretty badly scratched , so there's lots of mismatched blue touch ins under the fresh lacquer. It's a scruffy patina look with a smooth lacquer surface. Some of the shiny bits are also showing some chrome loss but once polished have retained a shiny , but weathered look , in keeping with the rest of the frame.Luckily the chrome rims were in good condition. Wheels have been polished and trued and inner rims have had the spoke ends deburred and the rim's inner surface given some rust stabilizer and silver paint to preserve them before fitting new rim tape.
